How to identify the new and old Daly BMS?

Is it save to connect the D1 to the Daly when i can measure 3,3V @ Pin2?
How can i be sure having an old working Daly BMS?

Hi,
I would be more concerned if there was NO 3.3V on pin 2. This is the power supply for the BT dongle.

There is no "new" BMS. Only the new WIFI dongle has a different pinout on the USB connector.

okay so Pin5+6 are always TX/RX?
So i can power my D1 externaly and connect Pin5+6 and Pin 1 directly to the connector on the BMS there should be no problem?

BTW: Having the data send over mqtt selectable would give a better performance. The block send is about 800 bytes .... I lot of stuff for my PLC.

I cannot find any information about which type this BMS is: new BMS or old BMS?

Hello,
The new and old BMS and the cable are only importsnt when you use a self build PCB with the original cable from the bt fongle, the old bt dongle and the new bt/WiFi dongle have different pinout.
The pinout on the BMS Side IS identical, so when you buy a new daly PCB from the Shop there IS No issue, the PCB comes with a cable that will fit both.
When you build IT by self, and connect it direct to the BMS Port then No Difference, only the "Micro USB" cable have another pinout

You have an "old" Daly BMS from the J/T/A/U/W/ND series.
The "new" Daly series have smaller GH1,25 connectors.
