I'm Alvaro, author of TresJS ecosystem, a declarative way of creating 3D scenes with Vue components, Storyblok SDK maintainer, and I create content on my youtube channel AlvaroDevLabs

I produce creative content and contribute to open source mainly related to Front-end (Vue) and 3D. I'm passionate about coding, UI/UX, and people, love to share knowledge in the community.

I want to dedicate at least 45% of my time to creating more value for the community, going to conferences to give talks 😊, more open-source contributions (plugins, tools), and a lot of tech content (articles, tutorials, videos).

In case you're interested in supporting me 💚, I want to share with you a little bit of my story.

I'm from Caracas, Venezuela 🇻🇪 graduated in Telecommunications Engineering and I've been working for the past 8 years on Web Development. My love story with programming started at the university where I found myself being happier doing video games and coding crazy electronic projects than actually configuring networks and servers 😅. To the point that I started teaching Electronics and development at the University after graduating.

I've always been a really creative person, I learned how to design even before touching a keyboard, so I found Front-end development the perfect place where I can mix my two passions, design, and development 🥰, so I started working on it meanwhile studying until the point I started to live as Freelance for several years.

Back in 2015, I moved to Aix-En-Provence in France 🇫🇷 to work on a big telecommunications project installing 4G Wifi on all the buses for the RDT-13 in the south of France. I think this was my only real "Telecommunications" project 😂 apart from my thesis in Wireless Sensor Networks.

Eventually, I moved to Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸 to follow my goal to be a Senior Front-end Developer. I worked for several years doing mobile applications with Angular and Ionic.

I'm really happy with my professional life, but I want to give more back to the community, since University I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others to achieve awesome things, so I want to dedicate more time to it. Of course, I also need to make it sustainable, so I can give more value and quality.
