My main contributions are geared towards the MagicMirror² ecosystem, which is a modular smart mirror platform based on augmented reality. It was my entry point into the OpenSource world 5 years ago during my studies in applied computer science.

Back then I had a lot of free time that I spent in the official forum to help other users build their mirrors and custom modules. Up to today, I haven't build a single mirror myself, shame on me! However, I have built 19+ modules on user requests, because back then there were not the same amount of modules that are available today:

• Offline voice recognition (sorry google, amazon, etc.) to control your mirror
• Alarm clock
• Several sports modules (soccer, american football, ice hockey, ...)
• Cheapest fuel prices in your area
• Shipment tracking
• And many more

I also contributed bug fixes and improvements to the core system and modules from other users.

In my active time in the forum, I helped hundreds of users debugging their issues and found obvious repetitive patterns because most users had 0 programming knowledge. On the basis of this, I dedicated my bachelor thesis to those issues, where I applied scientific methods to investigate and wrote a mobile application proof of concept to mitigate them. Sadly it stayed a PoC.

Since I started working as a Fullstack Developer I obviously didn't have the same amount of time as before anymore. With your sponsorship, you could help me free up more of my time that I can then in return dedicate to my OpenSource projects.
