Developer of Manhattan, Klang, rapIDE, and reViSiT, Chris is a software developer, composer, teacher, and researcher. He lectures in audio programming at UWE Bristol, and is leading development of the Music Software Engineering (MuSE) professional audio programming degree at Point Blank Music School (London). He has a PhD in the design of computer music software from Cambridge, and has developed both artistic and research projects for organisations such as Steinberg, Yamaha, the BBC, and nu:desine. A founding director of UWE's music technology enterprise studio, iMPULS, his own entrepreneurial spirit is somewhat handicapped by his annoying habit of giving stuff away for free.
