Sponsorship allows me to use those funds to remove obstacles in the way of me continuing to work on std::simd!
Often that means banal things like electricity bills and the like, but sometimes it helps me get hard-to-find research on esoteric floating point knowledge or acquire hardware examples of some of the SIMD extensions that Rust supports or will want to support (often software emulation just isn't the same).
