Very poor performance when importing full dump

I tried importing a full Kickass dump with v0.1.1. After running for ~24 hours, during which time the size of my mongodb data folder grew to over 7 GB (by comparison, the dump file is only 500 MB), I killed the process (it was making my computer unusably slow).

Is it expected to take this long to import a full dump? If not, what I can do to diagnose why it's taking so long for me?

Note that with v0.0.5, I was able to successfully import a full dump in about 15 hours.

This is expected. I tried to note this everywhere as I don't recommend importing full dumps - they are 75% dead torrents anyway. I want to work on performance, but haven't gotten a chance because of school. I should have some time to work on it next week though.
