Hello, I'm interested in trying to setup a home server and this repo seems to be the easiest way to get started as it contains everything I think I'd need (not that I'd know).

One of my usecases is that I want to watch anime and have it sync with my anime list (I use anilist). I don't know how easy or difficult it'd be to add this to the configuration.. so I guess this issue is mostly just to ask whether you think it'd be easy to set up or whether it would be a good fit for MediaBox.

When I see repositories like these I get a little bit intimidated:
https://github.com/ZeroQI/Hama.bundle
https://github.com/RickDB/PlexAniSync

I have no idea how easy it is to place all these different moving parts into the same system and have it all work with plex or jellyfin etc. This is why initially I was really happy to come across your repo since it would be a good starting point, but the more I try to think about how to implement anime support, the more worried and uncertain I feel. I only want to invest in a NAS and stuff if I know I can actually get something out of it.

Would love to hear what you think regarding the difficulty of adding this (either locally for my configuration, or in your repository). Thanks!

I wish I had a better idea about how this works so I'm sorry for putting this on you! I'm not very good at networking or home-server stuff.. but this would really be worth the investment if movies, music, shows and anime were all in one place, backed up, and streamable / syncable.. Your repo is the closest thing I've seen to my ideal set up and I don't know how I'd do any of this without using your work as an example!

Sorry I haven't gotten back to this yet - been tied up with some work recently.
Haven't forgotten - hope to check into it soon.

There's no rush, I haven't made any moves on buying a NAS. I was thinking of getting a synology but I wasn't actually sure how easy it'd be to use this script on something like that, I'd probably need a virtual machine.. not sure..
