Verifying Kubernetes setup

Connet to Kubernetes master via SSH:

ssh core@<master ip> -i <path to Private SSH>

Kubernetes has a command line toolkit which can check if kubernetes is up and running. Just type

kubectl cluster-info

The output will be like:

Kubernetes master is running at http://localhost:8080

To verify that Kubernetes nodes connected to the master and are working use this command:

kubectl get nodes

Output should be

NAME LABELS STATUS
10.0.0.164 kubernetes.io/hostname=10.0.0.164 Ready
10.0.0.165 kubernetes.io/hostname=10.0.0.165 Ready
10.0.0.166 kubernetes.io/hostname=10.0.0.166 Ready
10.0.0.167 kubernetes.io/hostname=10.0.0.167 Ready
10.0.0.168 kubernetes.io/hostname=10.0.0.168 Ready

If you see all 5 nodes in a Ready state you can go to the next chapter.
