Feature request to flatten file hierarchy

I'm looking for a way to flatten the file hierarchy, basically like the reverse of what synx does. Instead of putting all files into folders to match how they look in Xcode, I want them all in a flat folder.

Or if anyone has suggestions on any alternatives that do this?

I'm also interested in this feature. I need to be able to perform a reverse operation - removing the directory structure completely.

Since this issue is over two years old, I'll ask again: does anyone know of alternative solutions to flatten the directory structure?
