Is taskq production ready?

Is anybody using it with production workflows?

I'd like to ask a related question: What is the project status of taskq? I am looking for a job queue and taskq seems like a nice project. I noticed some things that keep me guessing about the liveliness of it though:

• On the latest v3 version i have bugs that should be pretty obvious to anyone using taskq but there are no issues.
• Work is being done on v4 but there are no issues on or project plans, nor any communication on what is to be expected. I tried v4 and there are breaking changes (fine, its a major version jump after all). But what would I expect when using this project?
• The readme states taskq is askq is brought to you by star uptrace. For transparencies sake: Is taskq developed internally over at uptrace? It seems so since again the Github issues (lack of) and missing communication about what is happening here gives a strange impression.

Maybe these points are a bit more helpful and communicate that (at least for me) there is interest in this project but the communication (or lack there of) might scare people away. Hope you get that, happy to discuss :)

Hi, I rediscovered this project after some time and I am curious, what are the obvious bugs not covered by issues that you had in mind?
