- Collect all your parts
- Bend all the diodes - its easier and neater to bend them before
- Populate the board with all the diodes and then solder them in place - bending the legs out a little will hold the diodes in place until you have a chance to solder them.
- Solder the headers to the Pro Micro - it is easiest to just solder one or two pins to hold things together loosely.
- Solder the Pro Micro to the PCB - again, one or two pins
- Install Pro Micro to PCH and finish soldering all the rest of the pins
- (optional) If using a plate, install the key switches to the plate
- Install the switches to the PCB and solder.
- Install keycaps.
- Install contraption into case. (STL file in /case)
- Flash firmware to ProMicro. (Arduino sketch in /firmware)
