Flux won't let me set my latitude or zip code #152
Comments
Did you also install xflux into your PATH? I had to do that before the fluxgui setup screen would work properly for me. If you do that, you'll see the dialog again, but this time the Preferences dialog should stay for you to enter your lat/long and other details. I hope that helps. |
How do you do that? Does that mean installing for all users or just the current user or what? |
Let me know what step you've got to so far. |
The command line version works fine. It was fluxgui as I said in the original comment that had the issue |
Just touching base with you - did you get this resolved in the end? Sorry I'm so late back, I was not exactly paying attention. |
I am having the same issue |
The install went just fine but once I run fluxgui a window opens saying, the f.lux indicator applet needs to know your latitude or zip code to run and to fill them into the preferences screen.
That's what I'm trying to do but it won't let me and closing the window closes the preferences window as well.
