Seek back does not work consistently when episode is playing

When using b or j to seek back in a episode, it should go back 10 seconds. However, I noticed than when the episode is playing and I try to go back repeatedly, it sometimes works and sometimes go forward instead. It is a bit erratic and I can't predict before the key press whether it will go forward or backward. The issue seems to disappear if I pause playback first and then use b or j to go back.

I am using the latest release (not latest git commit) and the episode on which I noticed it is the postmarketOS podcast episode 1, though I don't think it's specific to any feed.
