Welcome to the developper wiki of the EEXCESS privacy preserving proxy.

The privacy proxy is a component which fits between the EEXCESS user profiler plugin and the EEXCESS federated recommender system. It is there to allows usres to define their privacy preservation policy and ensure that this policy is respected by (prospectively for now):

• adapting the data trasnmitted to the recommender system according to their trustworthiness
• giving feedback on what information has been transmitted to who
• provide feedback on the improvements obtained by each
