The Arc Furnace melts resources into molten forms- for example, Iron Ingots into Molten Iron. This is one of 3 machines required to produce advanced alloys.

Machine Upgrade: +25% Speed
Ender Upgrade: +33% molten metal produced from melting raw metals (3 extra nuggets per raw ore)
Nether Upgrade: +25% Speed and Efficiency, but can only melt non-metals
