Note: Code is fairly undocumented, look at your own risk lol. I will be attempting to add better documentation soon though.

self-balancing-cube

Code for a self balancing cube I'm building for module corsework. Turns out the people on twitter enjoyed it: https://twitter.com/GoddenThomas/status/1369384176256946182

Hardware details:

CAD link: Onshape document (I am sorry for the horrific view only pan/orbit controls, nothing I can do)

Hardware breakdown:

  • 3x 12V mystery DC motors I found in a box of dead robots
  • 2x L298N motor drivers
  • 1x Arduino Mega
  • 1x MPU 6050 Gyroscope
  • 3x Printed reaction wheels + motor mounts
  • Lots of cardboard and hot glue :)
