It seems every functions are inherited from DeterministicFunction. The direct child class of BasicFunction is only DeterministicFunction.

Unless this is related to an actual issue I don't think we should be refactoring merely for the sake of it.

No issue related to this, just wondering why there is another layer in the inheritance.
