| The risk score chosen can either predicts prevalence or incidence (Heagerty and Zheng, 2005). For example, the cumulative hazard can be seen as a measure of prevalence because it measures the cumulative risk, whereas the instantaneous hazard can be seen as a measure of incidence as it measures the risk of an event in a very short, infinitesimally small time. Consequently, there are two different types of sensitivity depending on the chosen risk score. |
