New chapters
The book includes new chapters going into the details of various aspects presented in the 'General principles' chapter:
- Epiverse-TRACE Package Dependency Guidelines
- Standards for branching and merging
- Code review
- Authorship and Contribution Acknowledgements
- Project and software sustainability
Minor changes
- The blueprints are now presented as an online book with various chapters. It includes a preface clarifying the audience and objectives.
- The blueprints are now properly citeable with a
CITATION.cff
file and a DOI - Links to Epiverse-TRACE blog posts and slidedecks with more details and practical considerations have been added throughout the text
- Illustrations have been added in various chapters
- The book now uses the Epiverse-TRACE theme and colour palette
Development process
- A number of additions have been discussed in wider meetings with the development team, which lead to the addition of new authors
- Continuous integration & continuous development workflows have been set up
