1. What is Simple Address Book

It's a simple web-based address book intended for personal use written using PHP and MySQL. You may not want everyone else taking a look to your contacts, so you can use some kind of easy authentication, such as Apache's htaccess authentication. 2. Requirements

Any server able to run PHP and MySQL. Tested with PHP 5.6 and 7.3, and MySQL 5.01 thru 5.7.

3. Installation

Place the files in your server and visit the place using a web browser. Follow the instructions. When entering the DB name, keep in mind the following: you can enter the name of an existing DB. In there a new table will be created. Otherwise, a new DB will be created with the name you entered in the "database name" text field.
