### IUP perl module ###

The IUP module is a perl binding for cross-platform GUI toolkit designed to run
on the following platforms: 
 * Win32 native GUI (native Windows + Cygwin)
 * GTK2+
 * Motif-X11
On all platform it uses native GUI widgets.

It is based on the following libraries:
 * iup library - see http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/iup/
 * im library  - see http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/im/
 * cd library  - see http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/cd/
There is no need to install them before installing IUP; they are handled by 
separate Alien::IUP module - http://search.cpan.org/dist/Alien-IUP/

See 'examples' folder to see how the perl programs using IUP module look like.

CPAN RELEASE

 The official releases of IUP 
 - can be found at: http://search.cpan.org/dist/IUP/
 - can be simply installed via CPAN client: cpan -i IUP

INSTALLATION

To install this module:

 * get latest src tarball from https://github.com/kmx/perl-iup/tarball/master

 * unpack src tarball and run the following commands:

    perl Build.PL
    ./Build
    ./Build test
    ./Build install
    
    note: you need to install Alien::IUP from CPAN before building IUP module
