openFyde prebuilt image - rpi5-openfyde ( Raspberry Pi 5)

TL;DR:

These are the prebuilt images for the rpi5-openfyde board under the openFyde project. You can download the image and flash it to a USB storage device; you can boot it up on a supported device - in this case, a Raspberry Pi 5.

Installation:

Please follow the instructions.

Description of the assets:

  • rpi5-openfyde-r114.img.xz
    • Typically, this file is all you need.
  • payload.bin
    • If the previously installed version includes the command openfyde-updater.sh, you can download the payload.bin to the device and then execute openfyde-updater.sh <path_to_payload.bin> as the root user to perform the upgrade.
  • stateful.tgz
    • This file is used to restore the stateful partition. Execute stateful_update_fydeos <path_to_stateful.tgz> as the root user, wait for the process to complete, and then restart the system.
