Bored is a simple app with a simple purpose. Just as the name suggests, the bored app is for people who're bored and want something to do. It is an all-in-one app to provide recommendations of movies, songs animes,books etc.
The app is built using Flutter and has firebase connectivity for fetching data and passing it . Further, A python script has been created for the recommendations both popularity and content based. We have created a REST API using Flask to implement the same. Postman was used to test it. The python script uses python libraries like numPy, pandas, sklearn, etc. Figma has been used for developing the app UI.
