Become a sponsor to Eric prvncher
I'm Eric, a Senior Research Engineer working on Advanced XR Authoring Research at Unity Labs.
Experienced in working on MRTK and cross-platform mixed reality application framework development from my time at CAE, a close Microsoft Mixed Reality partner, I've been maintainaing MRTK-Quest, a widely used open source extension to MRTK, bringing native support of the Oculus ecosystem, including controller and hand tracking support on Oculus Quest. As of MRTK 2.5, my work has been merged into mainline MRTK.
MRTK-Quest, along with my other open source work, has been all done in my spare time. Maintaining support for my projects isn't easy with everything else going on, so if there's a project you find particular value in, providing sponsorship can help me prioritize work on it. Though I can't make promises on features or timelines, I'm always happy to help.
I'll be honest, this goal is a bit arbitrary, and I'm not really looking to make X amount for anything. I work on open source because I enjoy it, and I'm happy that it's been useful to many of you! If you're grateful for that work, I'm happy to take a tip, but my code remains free to use, and you don't need to contribute for me to take your feedback posted in issues seriously. Thank you!
