This makes the high-level API on surface objects more user-friendly and "DWIM"-y, and adds documentation. Also some changes ot introductory docs and extra stuff in some other places. General clean-up and fix some missing files.
- ensure examples subdirectories are importable - add rgb565 files - fixes to code breakages
