Devil's ivy ([E. aureum](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epipremnum_aureum), also known as golden pothos), is an evergreen vine popular in house plants. This vine can't be found natively in the world, but can be crafted from Vanilla vines and compost.
Devil's ivy has different growth characteristics than Vanilla vines. It will not climb along ceilings and it will not descend in open air. It has more aggressive growth tendencies than vines, especially in the vertical direction, and will fill in more of an area than vines would if left alone.
Devil's ivy doesn't serve any purpose besides providing an alternate climbing plant for decoration.
